  • We understand that buying a new home can be a daunting experience. Our skillful, caring and well-trained sales professionals assist Purchasers with the intricate details of their new-home buy; and together with our head office administrative team, are available for ongoing inquiries and assistance well after the Purchase Agreement is signed.

    Purchasers are invited to the Genesis Homes Design Centre where they work with a dedicated specialist to customize their model. Unlike others who may offer a defined colour pallet, our Purchasers select from an exciting assortment of finishes and features as we strive to deliver a home that satisfies both taste and lifestyle needs.

  • Genesis Homes utilizes a sophisticated information infrastructure where data is transferred immediately and stored in “the cloud” enabling staff and trades to communicate effectively with one objective in mind; expediting service as quickly as possible. A copy of the Genesis Homes Customer Care Booklet is provided and is a useful guide that addresses post occupancy processes, warranty, service and key contact details.

Your new home has been registered under the Ontario New Home Warranty Program. The summary we’ve provided below indicates what is covered and for how long.

    Genesis Homes warrants, from one year from the date on the Warranty Certificate, that the home is free from defects in workmanship and materials, is fit to live in and meets the Ontario Building Code. Notify Genesis Homes in writing of any defects before the first year is up.

    Genesis Homes warrants that the home is fit to live in; is free of violations of the Ontario Building Code's health and safety provisions; that it is free of defects in material or workmanship in the electrical, plumbing and heating delivery and distribution systems; is free of defects in the exterior cladding, caulking, windows and doors; and that the home is free of water penetration.

    Buyers are protected for seven years against major structural defects. Coverage under this provision is by Genesis Homes initially, and after the builder’s warranties expire, it becomes the responsibility of the Ontario New Home Warranty Program. Major structural defects are defined as any defect that results in failure of the load-bearing part of the home's structure or defects in materials or workmanship that adversely affect the use of the building as a home.
